WOW... it reached 100.1 degrees in my room. and they say it's always cold and gloomy in Washington. Bah. That's what happens when you live at the top of a 2 story oven. It doesn't help matters that the orientation of the building sucks - my place is oriented east to west, so that the living room windows face east, which means it's always perpetually dark and cave-like, and my bedroom windows... which are 2 feet off the ground and run the length of one wall up to the ceiling(just low enough for you to stumble and fall out of, yay) face west, so that the sun always shines through my window until it sets in the evening. Did i mention how hot it gets in the summer? even with all windows in the house open, the fan on, and the door open, it's even now still 95.5F.

...sucks even more since my car is dead, which is why i didn't just get out of the house and go somewhere cooler. i live in nowhere's ville, there's nothing interesting near it, and nobody(ie, friends) live anywhere near nowhere's ville. So where does that leave me? sitting in 95 degree room... yes!!!

It's not all bad though... it reminds me a lot of Hong Kong weather(how is that good?). When i lived there when i was a tyke with my grandparents, uncles and aunt(all 6 of us), all in an apartment the size of my living room. One of the few memories that brings a smile to my face. Hey, we all have fond memories, and mine just happen to be of a hot muggy appartment in HK, where you had to flush out the rats from under the bed every night before going to bed. Nice place, yeah... 'nuf said.
